F2. Salt Reduction
Delivery Plan:
Salt removal is one of the elements of our Product improvement programme. Since 2006 we have removed over 3000 tonnes of salt from our range. 70% of our products meet the 2012 Responsibility Deal salt targets, including 100% of our ready meals and soups.
As agreed, we are working with other retailers and food manufacturers to find technical solutions to meeting the targets in the remaining products, including commissioing independent research.
